Job description

Commercial Manager — Alconbury. Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Salary £40,000 + DOE.

We’re working with a fantastic business who are looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team and play a key role in driving growth, developing customer relationships, and delivering innovative solutions to the market.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in FMCG or retail account management who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take a real impact.

Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail customers.
  • Driving growth strategies and identifying new commercial opportunities.
  • Supporting new product launches and seasonal ranges across peak trading periods (Christmas, Easter, Spring).
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with NPD, Technical, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Overseeing sales forecasting, pricing, and category management.
  • Resolving challenges quickly to maintain outstanding customer service.
The Candidate
  • Proven experience in a commercial/account management role within FMCG, retail, or a similar fast-paced sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot and leverage opportunities.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with ERP systems (such as Rubicon) would be an advantage.
  • A proactive, dynamic, and enthusiastic approach to work.
