A respected and growing legal practice is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solicitor to join its Commercial Litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned litigator to take on a leadership role within a dynamic and supportive environment, working on complex, high-value disputes across a broad client base, including national and international matters.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of sophisticated civil and commercial litigation matters. You’ll play a key role in shaping litigation strategy, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on complex litigation cases from inception through to resolution, including trial and appeal stages.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of commercial disputes, including shareholder and partnership conflicts, and insolvency-related matters.
  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and negotiations.
  • Draft high-quality legal documents including pleadings, motions, and legal opinions.
  • Supervise and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver integrated legal solutions.
  • Keep abreast of legal developments, particularly in commercial litigation and cross-border enforcement.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and help expand the firm’s litigation offering.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong background in complex dispute resolution, including shareholder disputes, partnership breakdowns, and insolvency litigation.
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional litigation and enforcement of foreign judgments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Proven ability to manage high-pressure caseloads and deliver results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
