A legal 500 listed law firm with offices based across Lancashire are seeking a Solicitor to join their highly regarded Legal 500 listed department.
Key Responsibilities:
Ideally, you will have gained at least 2 years' PQE within Commercial Litigation and be comfortable managing your own caseload. You will be joining a small team that deals with complex legal matters and a wide variety of work including contract disputes, shareholder & partnership disputes, insolvency matters, property disputes, boundary disputes, and professional negligence.
Working alongside a Director, you will become an integral part of the firm right away and will enjoy direct client contact with key clients of the firm. You will also contribute to building the department further by getting actively involved in the business development activities of the firm and the department.
The team currently consists of 2 Solicitors, 2 Paralegals, and support staff, offering you the opportunity to progress your career and increase your responsibilities. An aspect of this role includes management, where you will supervise 2 Paralegals and assist with their progression while contributing to the growth of the team.
The firm is very work/life balance focused and can offer a fully remote role, with some travel to an office needed to liaise with the Director and discuss plans for progressing and growing the team. All fee earners currently have the choice to work remotely, hybrid, or from the office, and this will continue to be in place.
Salary for this role is based on your existing package and PQE level; however, as a smaller firm, they can offer extra benefits like flexible working patterns, a pleasant work/life balance, and a generous holiday allowance.
