Leading Regional Law firm is looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor into their team in the Midlands. Responsibilities

1. Play an active role in the development of the commercial litigation department.
2. Handle a caseload comprising shareholder disputes, contentious probate, building disputes, professional negligence disputes, and partnership disputes.
3. Work directly alongside the partner, demonstrating ambition and drive to progress your career.
4. Manage all aspects of commercial litigation, including disclosure, case management, drafting witness statements, and attending trials.
5. Participate in settlement negotiations, arbitration, and mediation.
6. Business development and marketing within the local area.

Candidate Requirements

1. Genuine passion for Commercial Litigation with some working knowledge of all aspects of commercial litigation.
2. Experience within a leading national or regional law firm.
3. Handled a mixed caseload of commercial litigation matters.
4. Strong network of contacts within the regional market.
5. Proven experience in the full litigation process, advising UK and international corporations, governments, and high net worth individuals.
6. Ability to demonstrate experience in all parts of the litigation process.
7. Keen to business develop and market in the local area.
