Oculus Legal Group is working with a leading national law firm looking to appoint a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE to join its established and highly regarded disputes team in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Litigation Solicitor looking to develop their career within a successful national practice, working alongside an award-winning and highly regarded Partner on a broad range of complex commercial disputes.

The team has an established client base and strong pipeline of work, offering the successful candidate exposure to high-quality, technically interesting disputes for national and regional clients.

Alongside fee-earning responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to develop direct client relationships, become increasingly involved in business development and networking, and build your own profile within the market.

There are strong long-term progression opportunities for someone looking to build their career within the firm.

The Role

You will work as part of an experienced Commercial Litigation team advising clients across a broad range of contentious matters.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial disputes
• Advising on complex contractual and commercial matters
• Supporting on high-value and technically challenging litigation
• Managing matters through the court litigation process
• Drafting correspondence, pleadings and other legal documentation
• Working directly with clients and providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice
• Working closely with senior lawyers and Partners on complex matters
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Becoming increasingly involved in business development, networking and profile-raising activities

The Candidate

The firm is looking for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE who can demonstrate:

• Strong Commercial Litigation / Dispute Resolution experience
• Experience managing a varied caseload of commercial disputes
• A good understanding of court litigation processes
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• The ability to provide pragmatic and commercially focused advice
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• A genuine interest in developing their career within Commercial Litigation

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £60,000–£75,000, depending on experience.
