Job summary

Slater Heelis is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor (5–10 years’ PQE) to join its Dispute Resolution team. You will manage a varied caseload across contractual, shareholder, and professional negligence disputes for SMEs, corporates, owners and high-net-worth individuals.

You’ll contribute to business development, client relationships and the ongoing growth of the team in a collaborative, flexible environment with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' PQE in commercial litigation.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex commercial litigation matters.
• Advise a diverse client base including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, corporates and high-net-worth individuals.
• Contribute to business development and growth of the team.
• Support continued growth of the Dispute Resolution team, including ADR and mediation.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor (5-10 years' PQE) to join our highly regarded Dispute Resolution team.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, advising a diverse client base that includes SMEs, owner-managed businesses, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals.

Your work will include:

• Contractual and shareholder disputes
• Partnership and business ownership disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Debt recovery and enforcement matters
• Injunctive relief applications
• Commercial and property-related disputes
• Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation

You will also play an active role in business development, client relationship management, and supporting the continued growth of the team.

About You

We are looking for a solicitor who:

• Has between 5 and 10 years' PQE in commercial litigation
• Demonstrates strong technical and analytical skills
• Can confidently manage a complex caseload with autonomy
• Has excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Enjoys networking and contributing to business development initiatives
• Is commercially aware, proactive, and solutions-focused
