Slater Heelis is an award-winning, full-service law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor (5-10 years' PQE) to join its Dispute Resolution team. You will manage a varied caseload of complex disputes for a diverse client base and contribute to business development in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex commercial litigation matters.
• Advise a diverse client base including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, corporates and high-net-worth individuals.
• Handle contractual and shareholder disputes, partnership disputes and professional negligence claims.
• Oversee debt recovery, enforcement matters and injunctive relief applications.
• Engage in business development and client relationship management to support team growth.
• Actively contribute to ADR processes, including mediation.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, advising a diverse client base that includes SMEs, owner-managed businesses, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals.

Your work will include:

• Contractual and shareholder disputes
• Partnership and business ownership disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Debt recovery and enforcement matters
• Injunctive relief applications
• Commercial and property-related disputes
• Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation

You will also play an active role in business development, client relationship management, and supporting the continued growth of the team.

About You

We are looking for a solicitor who:

• Has between 5 and 10 years' PQE in commercial litigation
• Demonstrates strong technical and analytical skills
• Can confidently manage a complex caseload with autonomy
• Has excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Enjoys networking and contributing to business development initiatives
• Is commercially aware, proactive, and solutions-focused
