Michael Page seeks a Commercial Litigation Solicitor in Leeds to join a highly regarded disputes team within a global law firm. You will work alongside Partners on complex disputes for national and international clients, with genuine scope to develop your expertise and specialise over time.

Our client is a global legal firm with a large office in central Leeds, advising some of the world’s largest multinational businesses.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years PQE in commercial litigation
• Experience handling commercial disputes
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues
• Team oriented and collaborative
• Interest in working within a large international law firm

Responsibilities

• Advise national and international clients on a broad range of commercial disputes
• Manage disputes from initial instruction through to resolution
• Work with specialists on complex, high‑value matters
• Advise on class actions, supply chain disputes and outsourcing disputes
• Handle technology, cryptocurrency and product liability disputes
• Develop strong client relationships and contribute to cross‑sector work

Description

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor will be:

• Advising national and international businesses on a broad range of commercial disputes
• Working alongside specialists on complex and high value matters
• Managing and progressing disputes from initial instruction through to resolution
• Advising on class actions, supply chain disputes and outsourcing disputes
• Working on technology disputes, cryptocurrency disputes and product liability matters
• Supporting clients across sectors including financial services, industrials, technology and utilities
• Developing strong commercial relationships with clients

Profile

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor with approximately 0 to 2 years PQE
• Experienced in commercial litigation
• Comfortable handling a varied caseload and working on complex disputes
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to communicate confidently with clients and colleagues
• A strong team player
• Interested in working within a large international law firm and gaining exposure to complex, high quality work

Job Offer

• Salary between £80,000 and £84,000
• 25 days of holiday leave.
