Commercial Litigation Senior Associate | Southampton

A highly regarded regional firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate to join its growing Southampton team. You'll work closely with experienced partners on complex commercial disputes, while having the autonomy to build your own profile and client relationships.

The Role

You'll handle a broad range of commercial disputes, including:

• Contract and contractual disputes
• Professional negligence
• Director and shareholder disputes
• Disputes arising from business sales
• Debt recovery and commercial claims
• Mediation and other forms of ADR
• Court proceedings, from initial strategy through to resolution

You'll have significant client contact, responsibility for your own matters and the opportunity to work alongside colleagues across the wider firm.

About You

You'll be a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 4+ PQE, with strong experience handling a broad range of commercial disputes.

You'll be:

• Technically strong with excellent drafting and analytical skills
• Commercial and pragmatic in your approach
• Confident managing matters with minimal supervision
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients, counsel and other professionals
• A team player who wants to contribute to the growth of the wider practice
• Interested in business development and developing long-term client relationships
