William James Recruitment is working with a leading UK law firm to recruit a Commercial Litigation Associate Solicitor in Leeds. You will handle complex domestic and cross-border disputes, with exposure from day one.

You'll work alongside partners, manage own matters with growing autonomy, and contribute to a busy disputes team. The role offers a clear path for progression, a competitive salary, annual bonus up to 35%, and a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with ideally 1-4 PQE in Commercial Litigation.
• Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills.
• Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to client service.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside partners on complex commercial disputes.
• Managing your own matters with growing autonomy.
• Advising on a broad range of business disputes.
• Acting for clients across banking, real estate, energy and infrastructure.
• Supporting clients in private equity, retail, leisure and food sectors.
• Delivering dispute avoidance and pre-dispute advice.
• Handling litigation, arbitration, mediation and adjudication matters.
• Building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm.
