The Opportunity

A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented litigation solicitor (1-3 PQE) to join a well-established and highly regarded dispute resolution department in central London. The firm is known for its discreet, high-value commercial litigation work, often involving complex cross-border issues, urgent injunctive relief, and strategic advice at partner level.

You will work closely with a senior partner whose practice encompasses a wide range of commercial, financial and insolvency-related disputes. This is an excellent role for a technically strong, driven solicitor who thrives in a lean, collegiate team and is seeking greater involvement, responsibility, and exposure to major cases.

About the Practice

The firm has a strong reputation in complex litigation, acting for a diverse client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, private equity and hedge funds, banks, corporates, trustees, and insolvency professionals. Their work often involves:

  • Contractual disputes and shareholder litigation
  • Fraud and asset tracing
  • Injunctive relief (freezing, search, anti-suit)
  • Insolvency and restructuring disputes
  • Reputation management and privacy-related claims
  • Trusts and estate litigation
  • Multi-jurisdictional enforcement and arbitration

The firm operates in a lean, hands-on model that offers excellent exposure and real client involvement.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assisting in managing a broad portfolio of commercial litigation matters, including international and domestic disputes
  • Drafting and managing High Court proceedings, including pleadings, witness statements, applications and evidence
  • Supporting urgent and strategic applications for injunctive relief
  • Liaising with counsel, experts, and overseas lawyers in cross-border matters
  • Undertaking legal research and advising on litigation strategy
  • Working closely with the lead partner to support business development and client management
  • Assisting in mentoring more junior lawyer, trainees and other team members, as appropriate

About You

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 1 year of solid commercial litigation experience
  • Experience in complex High Court litigation, ideally involving financial services, fraud, or insolvency
  • Comfortable handling fast-moving and urgent matters, including interim relief applications
  • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
  • A pragmatic, strategic thinker who is confident working directly with clients
  • Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to take initiative and work independently where appropriate
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a partner-led, high-quality disputes team

What’s on Offer

  • A broad and stimulating caseload, including urgent and high-value commercial litigation
  • Direct mentorship from a highly respected partner known for sharp strategic insight and complex litigation expertise
  • A collegiate, down-to-earth working environment
  • Opportunity to grow your practice and gain real responsibility early
  • Competitive remuneration and scope for progression
