My client, a leading international law firm, is looking to recruit an Associate into its highly regarded Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global practice working on complex, high-value disputes across a range of industries.

The Opportunity

You will work on a mix of large-scale, high-profile litigation and smaller standalone cases, often with an international element. The team handles disputes for clients in sectors such as technology, energy, utilities and consumer industries, offering excellent variety and the chance to develop sector expertise over time. You’ll be working closely with Partners and Senior Lawyers on strategy, case management and client engagement, while also gaining the autonomy to run your own matters.

Your Profile

The firm is seeking a bright and ambitious lawyer with:

  • 1–4 years’ PQE in commercial dispute resolution (or strong relevant experience)
  • A strong academic background and excellent technical skills
  • The ability to work proactively, manage varied matters and adapt quickly
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • An interest in business development and contributing to wider team success
  • Experience in international arbitration or cross-border litigation would be an advantage, though not essential
