Heriot Brown are working with a leading global professional services firm, who are seeking a Legal Counsel to join its high-performing in-house legal team. About the Role

As Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring that legal risks are effectively managed while supporting the firm’s commercial objectives.

This broad and hands-on role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced international environment, with the ability to influence key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Contracts – Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including client engagement letters, vendor contracts, and corporate agreements
2. Multi-Jurisdictional Work – Advise on legal and regulatory issues across different regions, ensuring compliance with local laws
3. Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with senior leaders across legal, HR, finance, and commercial teams to support business operations
4. Risk & Compliance – Monitor and mitigate legal risks while ensuring business objectives are met

Who Are You?

1. 2-4PQE qualified lawyer with City law firm training
2. Strong experience in commercial contracts and corporate legal matters
3. Multi-jurisdictional experience and language skills are highly desirable
4. Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk with business needs
5. A proactive, adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment
