Heriot Brown are working with a leading global professional services firm, who are seeking a Legal Counsel to join its high-performing in-house legal team. With a strong international presence, this firm partners with organisations across multiple industries to drive leadership, business transformation, and strategic growth.

About the Role
As Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts, employment matters (optional), and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring that legal risks are effectively managed while supporting the firm’s commercial objectives.
This broad and hands-on role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced international environment, with the ability to influence key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Contracts – Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including client engagement letters, vendor contracts, and corporate agreements
- Employment Law (Desirable, Not Essential) – Provide support on employment-related matters, including contracts, policies, and advisory work
- Multi-Jurisdictional Work – Advise on legal and regulatory issues across different regions, ensuring compliance with local laws
- Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with senior leaders across legal, HR, finance, and commercial teams to support business operations
- Risk & Compliance – Monitor and mitigate legal risks while ensuring business objectives are met
Who Are You?
- 2-4 PQE qualified lawyer with City law firm training
- Strong experience in commercial contracts and corporate legal matters
- Multi-jurisdictional experience and language skills are highly desirable
- Exposure to employment law is a plus, but not essential
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk with business needs
- A proactive, adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment
