Are you an experienced Commercial Manager with a history of successfully delivering Rail and Civils Construction projects in the most challenging and restricted environments?

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding division within a highly reputable Contractor with excellent progression prospects?

We are looking for an exceptional Commercial Manager with solid Rail and/or Civils experience to become an integral and vital part of a successful long-term delivery team. The candidate must have a proven track record of delivering projects from £40m to £300m.

The position requires a working knowledge of the Rail industry, coupled with the experience of delivering to NEC 3/4 style contracts and demonstrable understanding of working on a Network Rail Framework.

Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple sites across the UK is essential.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Lead for the project.
  • Provide support and advice to commercial and project management teams.
  • Efficiently manage all financial functions, including cost management, forecast cost to completion, management of CV systems, and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with client and stakeholders on all commercial matters.
  • Management of change control.
What We Are Looking For
  • Degree qualified, ideally RICS or ICES member.
  • Experience in using major forms of contract, including NEC.
  • Senior Commercial leadership of Rail/Civil Engineering projects.
  • A strong appreciation of the Rail sector, ideally from direct project experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate claims production, negotiation, and adjudication knowledge.
  • Extensive working knowledge of commercial processes, including contract analysis and risk management.
