One of our companies is currently looking for a Commercial Lead, Head of UK in the United Kingdom.
This strategic and hands-on leadership role is ideal for a commercially driven executive passionate about improving patient access to innovative therapies. As the Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for launching and expanding access to novel solid tumor treatments across the UK. You’ll work closely with key medical experts, healthcare authorities, and accredited treatment centers to build sustainable relationships and market presence. This position also involves leading commercial execution, building a local team, and driving revenue growth in alignment with business priorities.
Accountabilities:
· Lead the adaptation and implementation of the global commercial strategy to fit the UK market
· Build relationships with key stakeholders including medical experts, healthcare institutions, and regulatory authorities
· Drive commercial outcomes by identifying and developing opportunities in new and existing accounts
· Lead market access initiatives in collaboration with European Market Access leadership
· Oversee the creation of structured care pathways with treatment centers
· Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets with high accountability
· Represent the organization at national industry events and support cross-functional initiatives
· MBA or advanced degree in life sciences
· Minimum of 13 years of leadership experience in the pharma or biotech sector
· Proven success in a Country Manager or similar commercial leadership role
· Deep expertise in UK market access and stakeholder engagement
· Strong experience in strategic planning, revenue growth, and cross-functional collaboration
· Background in Cell & Gene therapy or advanced therapeutics is highly desirable
· Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
· Must be authorized to work in the UK and willing to travel up to 45%
