Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Lead to coordinate and drive the commercial growth / sales performance / trusted partnerships within the channel here at Virgin Media O2. You will have responsibility for a portfolio of partners who acquire business mobile customers for O2 Daisy, and will work to drive revenue growth, as well as develop and strengthen those relationships, to ensure our mutual success. This role requires regular travel to partners’ office locations, where the successful candidate will spend time with the business leaders and their teams.

  • A fast-paced business delivering a range of indirect mobile solutions to our existing and new customers.
  • Our team work with a portfolio of partners who carry our brand to market. Managing a significant proportion of our business customers, we are responsible for driving profitable net customer growth and new product penetration.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of partner relationships to drive commercial growth and revenue.
  • Drive revenue growth and develop strong trusted partnerships to ensure mutual success.
  • Regularly travel to partner offices to engage with business leaders and teams.
Qualifications
  • Partner Management experience within telco or IT, including a consistent track record of actively listening to Partners and gathering feedback to gain insights into their preferences, pain points, and expectations and execute plans to drive growth.
  • Consistent record of recognising and driving initiatives focused on continually improving Indirect Partner Channel performance, including removing obstacles and inefficiencies, enhancing the services provided to our partners, and challenging the status quo.
  • A strong understanding and proven track record of commercial principles encompassing key business concepts such as profit margins, pricing strategies, market dynamics, and the cost-benefit analysis of business decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proven expertise in analysing raw data, uncovering key insights, identifying patterns, and simplifying complex information into a clear, compelling narrative for customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in a dynamic trading environment, with responsibility for near and long-term budgeting and forecasting, identifying growth opportunities, and mitigating risks.
  • Excellent influencing skills, with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
  • A growth mind-set.
