Are you looking for a varied legal role where you can make a real difference? We are seeking a Lawyer/Senior Lawyer to join our friendly and professional legal department at Bradford Metropolitan District Council.
Bradford is an exciting and rapidly evolving place to live and work. This role offers a key opportunity for a highly motivated commercial lawyer to bring their experience and enthusiasm to the team.
The Legal Services Department is entering an exciting phase as the Council undertakes more projects, including the City of Culture 2025 (https://bradford2025.co.uk/), the new national rail interchange, and other major developments across the District.
This attractive and challenging role provides an opportunity to build on your experience. If successful, you will provide legal advice to the Council on contracts and procurement law across all services, including involvement in regeneration projects throughout the District.
You will be based in the Grade One Listed Bradford City Hall and enjoy the cultural, retail, and leisure facilities that Bradford offers as the 4th largest Metropolitan District.
The Council's general employment conditions include 8 statutory holidays, 27 days’ annual leave, flexible working, and flexi-time. We also offer an excellent pension scheme through the West Yorkshire Pension Fund.
