Our national digital, tech and data team is growing. Representing an impressive range of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 clients, public sector organisations, educational institutions, and industry bodies, on high-profile, business-critical projects and regulatory matters, the team plays a vital role in helping clients build growth and success. The team also works alongside our US colleagues on international transactions and projects, collaborating with other member firms across the world to assist clients in the UK and internationally.
We are looking for a lawyer with 3+ to senior PQE to join the team.
What does the team do?
We advise on complex and high-profile technology transactions, digital transformation projects, data protection, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies like generative AI. You will work with developers and suppliers of new products and services, collaborating closely with our commercial and sector teams to help businesses adopt digital technologies, enhancing productivity and competitiveness across industries such as manufacturing, energy, transport, logistics, and international trade.
You will be involved in all aspects of transactions and projects, including contract strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk management. This is an exciting opportunity to learn, explore, and contribute within a diverse team that values support and creativity.
The role includes opportunities to work on multi-jurisdictional projects, help UK businesses expand into new markets like the USA and Saudi Arabia, and participate in international secondments.
What does the ideal candidate look like?
We seek a lawyer with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in digital, tech, or data protection law, gained at a City or large regional firm or in-house. Candidates should possess excellent drafting and communication skills, enthusiasm for the practice area, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
