Chadwick Nott are recruiting a Commercial Lawyer for an exceptional new opportunity with a leading Top 50 law firm.

Our client is one of the fastest growing UK law firms with offices around the country. They are a leading Legal 500 and Chambers rated firm who can offer you a promising career, working with the best in your field.

Their national commercial team unites expertise in general commercial, digital, IP, energy and renewables, and projects and procurement. They represent a wide array of FTSE 100 and 250 clients, public sector entities, educational institutions, and industry bodies, supporting them on high-profile, critical business projects and regulatory matters. The team, one of the largest and most accomplished of its kind, consists of specialists across sectors such as advanced manufacturing, life sciences, aerospace and defence, energy, transport, logistics, and international trade. With lawyers based throughout their UK offices many of which, include nationally recognised leaders in their fields, they are now looking to hire a commercial contracts lawyer with 3+ years of PQE to join their growing team

The highly ranked team advise on a broad spectrum of contractual arrangements for both strategic projects and day-to-day business needs across various industries with expertise especially focused on advanced manufacturing, from large-scale industrial operations to highly specialised life sciences companies. In addition, they play an active role in energy transition and decarbonisation projects as well as assisting clients manage procurement, supply chain, product development, and market entry strategies.

The successful Commercial Lawyer can expect to be involved in all aspects of transactions and projects, including contract strategy, drafting and negotiation, data protection (with support from our privacy specialists), and risk management. This is a dynamic, collaborative environment and a wonderful opportunity for the right person to develop their career at a top tier practice working with leading lawyers who are truly experts in their field.

To be considered you will be a Commercial Lawyer with at least 3 years PQE experience in commercial contracts, gained at a city firm, large regional firm, or in-house. Experience with international clients, particularly import/export, would be advantageous, as would knowledge of tech, IP, and data protection (although not essential). Strong drafting and communication skills, coupled with a passion for commercial law and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service, are crucial.
