Job description

We are seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Commercial Lawyer to join our team at our Paisley site with the option for fully remote work. As a crucial member of the Commercial function you will work closely with the Commercial, Sales, Account Management, Procurement and Technical Teams to support the negotiation and execution of contracts that drive margin expansion. Your role will involve shaping a proactive legal culture that supports growth, protects the Group’s interests, and enhances our reputation as a trusted partner in global markets.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified solicitor with a current practicing certificate.

  • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial law, ideally within a B2B environment.

  • Strong academic background in Scots Law, with a preference for a postgraduate qualification in Commercial or Corporate Law.

  • Demonstrated experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on a diverse range of commercial agreements.

  • Track record of contributing to strategic business initiatives with a focus on margin improvement and risk mitigation.

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.

  • High level of commercial awareness, project management skills, and excellent communication abilities.
