Job description

COMMERCIAL LAWYER, 3 + PQE, TYNE and WEAR, COMPETITIVE SALARY and BENEFITS PACKAGE. Exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer to join a reputable firms' technology and digital businesses team. JOB REF: 0297

  • Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, with a focus on technology related agreements such as outsourcing, procurement, IT cloud arrangements, data centres, logistics, manufacturing, agency, distribution, and franchising.
  • You will lead client matters and building strong relationships while collaborating with wider teams across the firm, supporting business, and assisting senior lawyers in supervising junior team members.
  • Applicants should have at least three years' experience in a commercial law practice, ideally with experience in technology:related contracts.
  • Familiarity with sectors such as technology, healthcare, leisure, life sciences, construction, or the public sector is advantageous. While experience with in:house or consumer contracts and public procurement is a plus, it is not essential.
