Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Commercial Laundry Service Engineer for a long-established family-run company in Christchurch, a leader in the supply and maintenance of commercial laundry and catering equipment.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with a half-hour lunch break.

Salary: £30,000 per annum

They serve offshore, marine, and onshore clients including military vessels, hotels, nursing homes, local authorities, NHS, marinas, and holiday parks. They pride themselves on providing expert advice and comprehensive support from installation to ongoing maintenance and repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment such as washing machines, tumble dryers, and rotary irons.
• Working on electrical and gas-fired commercial laundry equipment.
• Covering Dorset, Hampshire, and Wiltshire.
• Working with clients including nursing homes, offices, holiday parks, and hotels.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in servicing commercial laundry equipment (gas or electrical).
• Relevant gas certificates (e.g., CCLNG1, CLE) are beneficial but not essential.
• Background in white goods or domestic gas appliances is considered.
• Good electrical competency.
