Job Description:

We are seeking a Commercial Kitchen Designer to join an established firm involved in the design and installation of commercial kitchens. The role involves producing CAD designs and estimates, working with CAD 2D and 3D Revit software, and creating detailed drawings using AutoCAD.

The responsibilities include:

1. Create take-offs from drawings and present them in Excel spreadsheets.
2. Print drawing sets and participate in project reviews.
3. Export DWF and other formats for collaboration.
4. Compile data sheets for technical submissions.
5. Contribute to continuous improvement of company systems.
6. Provide reports to line managers as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a background in 2D/3D design within commercial kitchens, light construction, or shopfitting. The role is suitable for current CAD designers or commercial kitchen designers living within commuting distance of Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Durham, Morpeth, or Hexham, or those willing to relocate.
