Job Description:

Join our Commercial & Investment Bank Treasury team to help manage the firm’s capital in an ever-shifting market environment—evaluating business profitability under existing and new regulations, and supporting the strategic planning process.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and strategic role within the CIB Treasury group, where you will play a key part in optimizing performance and shaping the future of the organization.

As a Treasury - Capital Management in the CIB Treasury team, you will focus on capital management and support the development and execution of related strategies to influence, optimize, measure, and report on business performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the firm managing balance sheet, funding, and liquidity strategies.

Job responsibilities
  • Drive consistency in financial resource allocations and business incentives across the firm, considering regulatory and economic risk constraints.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the CIB capital framework, including data aggregation, analysis, and reporting for new initiatives and business opportunities.
  • Review business-level returns on capital-consuming activities, such as ROE and other resource constraints.
  • Understand future regulatory changes (e.g., Basel 3, Federal Reserve stress testing), evaluate impacts, and serve as a subject matter expert for reporting and strategic decisions.
  • Partner with internal teams to support and improve business tools, providing real-time insights and performance measurement.
  • Develop stakeholder partnerships and deepen understanding of CIB businesses and environment.
  • Oversee operational forecasting and budgeting for certain financial elements, including stakeholder input, management reporting, and variance analysis.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Financial Services.
  • Experience in financial resource management within bank treasury supporting CIB products.
  • Strong understanding of bank profitability, risk drivers, and industry regulation impacts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex topics.
