Job Title: Commercial Insurance Broker

Location: Glasgow

Type: Permanent

Commercial Broker, Glasgow

Salary to £34,000 plus benefits, bonus, and hybrid working

Exciting new opportunity to work alongside one of the most highly regarded leaders in the Scottish broking arena. Working closely with this director, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke commercial insurance solutions to some of his largest clients.

The role:

1. Responsible for servicing commercial / corporate insurance clients.
2. Handle new and existing business risks.
3. Manage quotations, renewals, MTA’s, market submissions, presentations, etc.
4. Provide a quality service to clients, acquire optimal retention numbers, and push for growth where appropriate.
5. Build strong and robust client and insurer relationships.
6. Offer the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Experience and Qualifications:

1. Hold or be working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Cert CII, Dip CII, or ACII.
2. Technical working knowledge of general commercial lines insurance products and services.
3. Proficient in MS Office; Acturis experience would be advantageous.
4. Excellent client service focus; the customer is always your top priority.
5. Ability to generate and drive new business using exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to deal with ambiguity and maintain outstanding accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Continuously build industry knowledge and seek development.
8. Eligible to work in the UK.
