£25,000 - £35,000

Barker Munro Recruitment is working with a fast‑growing commercial insurance brokerage in Kent who are seeking an SME Commercial Insurance Broker to manage and grow a mixed book of SME property and commercial clients.

You’ll manage a portfolio covering: Property Owners (Commercial & Residential), Shops, Offices & Retail Units, Takeaways, Cafés, Restaurants and SME Commercial Combined.

Key Duties

• Managing SME renewals and ensuring strong client retention
• Handling and converting new business enquiries
• Completing fact-finds and preparing risk presentations
• Placing risks with a wide insurer panel and Lloyd’s markets
• Advising clients on cover, terms, and policy conditions
• Negotiating premiums and maintaining accurate CRM records

About You

• Experience in Commercial Insurance broking
• Knowledge of Property Owners or Commercial Combined
• Confident with renewals, new business and client communication
• Organised, proactive and commercially aware
