Commercial Insurance Account Handler - Maternity Cover (12-month FTC)

Location: Bromsgrove, United Kingdom (Hybrid after training)

Our client, a well-established insurance company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join their team on a maternity cover contract. The role involves managing a portfolio of commercial clients, handling renewals, quotations, and liaising with insurers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Account Executives in managing client portfolios
• Prepare and process renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations
• Negotiate with insurers to obtain competitive terms
• Provide high-quality customer service
• Maintain accurate client records
• Negotiate with underwriters on policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial insurance handling
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products (property, liability, fleet, professional indemnity); Motor Trade experience is advantageous
• Acturis experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and a proactive, client-focused attitude
