Job summary

Chelsea FC is seeking a Head of Commercial Insights to lead data-driven insights, valuation and reporting across sponsorships and partnerships. You will turn complex data into clear commercial recommendations, drive evidence-based sales stories and ensure audit-ready models for leadership and ownership.

The role sits within Commercial Strategy and will lead the Insights team, set standards for accuracy, and embed insight across the partnership lifecycle from targeting to renewal and activation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial insights, sponsorship valuation, sports analytics or commercial strategy.
• Hands-on experience defending sponsorship rights and asset valuations.
• Experience within sports rights holders, agency or analytics providers is preferred.
• Ability to translate analysis into revenue-driving commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial data, insights and storytelling to support partnerships and senior decision making.
• Manage large, complex data sets to provide reliable inputs for pitches and renewals.
• Translate analysis into persuasive sales narratives and concise statistics.
• Develop valuation models, deal governance and inventory frameworks.
• Oversee revenue tracking, budgeting, forecasting and CRM governance.
• Lead and develop the Commercial Insights team and coordinate stakeholder requirements.
