About the Role

We are seeking a curious, critical-thinking Commercial & Incentives Analyst to join our Commercial Excellence team at Reuters. In this role, you will acquire a deep understanding of the business and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver core building blocks that motivate Sales and facilitate growth.

Responsibilities
  1. Leverage data visualization tools (like Power BI and Tableau) to transform sales performance metrics into actionable insights, driving strategic decisions for senior management.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting tools and dashboards that provide real-time data to Sales and leadership.
  3. Deliver insightful analyses to guide GTM strategies, uncover growth opportunities, and improve business outcomes (e.g., sales participation, white space, pipeline health).
  4. Analyze and interpret business performance, making recommendations for improvements in policies, resource allocation, and processes.
  5. Assist in implementing and enhancing sales compensation plans, including account segmentation, territory assignment, and quota setting.
  6. Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely commission payouts, addressing discrepancies effectively.
  7. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve quarterly commission cycles.
  8. Champion best practices in data management and reporting to improve approaches continually.
Qualifications
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI & Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into strategic insights.
  • Effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt priorities while maintaining quality.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and experience in sales analytics is a plus.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo and act swiftly to achieve results.
