About the Role
We are seeking a curious, critical-thinking Commercial & Incentives Analyst to join our Commercial Excellence team at Reuters. In this role, you will acquire a deep understanding of the business and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver core building blocks that motivate Sales and facilitate growth.
Responsibilities
- Leverage data visualization tools (like Power BI and Tableau) to transform sales performance metrics into actionable insights, driving strategic decisions for senior management.
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting tools and dashboards that provide real-time data to Sales and leadership.
- Deliver insightful analyses to guide GTM strategies, uncover growth opportunities, and improve business outcomes (e.g., sales participation, white space, pipeline health).
- Analyze and interpret business performance, making recommendations for improvements in policies, resource allocation, and processes.
- Assist in implementing and enhancing sales compensation plans, including account segmentation, territory assignment, and quota setting.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely commission payouts, addressing discrepancies effectively.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve quarterly commission cycles.
- Champion best practices in data management and reporting to improve approaches continually.
Qualifications
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI & Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into strategic insights.
- Effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt priorities while maintaining quality.
- Familiarity with CRM software and experience in sales analytics is a plus.
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and act swiftly to achieve results.
