Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Pennsylvania. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of HVAC systems, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, split systems, and VAV systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and determine solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment.
  • Complete service tickets, maintenance records, and job reports accurately and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and safety practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; HVAC technical school diploma or certification.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
  • Valid EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and control systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and time-management abilities.

Additional Qualifications:

  • NATE certification.
  • Experience with building automation systems (BAS).
  • Knowledge of energy management practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for long periods.
