At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland, we design, develop, and produce radial piston motors, working in partnership with renowned international OEMs in industries such as material handling, construction, and forestry machinery.
Job Description
Our trainee programme as a "Commercial Graduate Specialist" is your career start in an internationally successful company. Over 18-24 months, you will rotate through specialist departments at our Glenrothes plant and abroad, tailored to your interests and career goals.
What will you be doing?
- Gain in-depth insight into Financial Controlling, Supply Chain, and Human Resources functions within Bosch Rexroth, with potential placements in finance, supply chain/purchasing, or HR.
- Support the Commercial team, including areas such as Business Intelligence & CRM, Supply Chain, HR, and Customer Service.
- Undertake technical and project tasks, along with operational and strategic responsibilities.
- Provide commercial support and administration for projects and contracts, including change management, performance monitoring, and risk management.
- Build and maintain beneficial relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to add value to the company.
- Gain experience with our diverse product and service portfolio and understand the commercial and internal development processes.
- Support process improvements, contribute fresh perspectives, and apply your academic knowledge.
- Take responsibility for specific projects and ensure their successful delivery.
- Assist with HR-related issues at the site, including disciplinary matters when needed.
- Support supply chain projects and initiatives.
- Assist financial controlling with forecasting, planning, and reporting.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Master’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
- A motivated individual seeking a fulfilling career with commercial potential.
- Experience or knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Proactive, persistent, results-oriented.
- Industrial internships or initial work experience in a technical environment preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, committed, team-oriented, and open to new ideas.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy, especially in Excel.
