Job summary

Talent Solution Partners is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas / Mechanical Engineer for a permanent mobile role. You'll work across commercial sites delivering high-quality gas and mechanical installations with a focus on safety and customer service.

The position offers a £55,000 salary, company van, fuel card and paid door-to-door travel, with Monday to Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration required.
• Experience with commercial boilers and heating systems.
• Strong fault-finding and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commercial gas and mechanical installation works.
• Install, maintain and repair boilers, heating systems and plant.
• Work on pumps, valves, pipework and related equipment.
• Perform mechanical plant room installations and upgrades.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs as needed.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Ensure all gas works comply with current regs.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and site teams.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Gas / Mechanical Engineer to join a growing and established building services company.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Gas Safe registered engineer who also has strong experience in mechanical installations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out commercial gas and mechanical works across a variety of commercial sites, with a strong focus on quality installations, technical expertise and customer service.

You’ll receive a £55,000 salary, company van, fuel card and paid door-to-door travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out commercial gas and mechanical installation works
• Install, maintain and repair commercial boilers, heating systems and mechanical plant
• Work on pumps, valves, pipework and associated equipment
• Carry out mechanical plant room installations and upgrades
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs where required
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Ensure all commercial gas works comply with current regulations
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site teams

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial Gas Safe registration - essential
• Valid commercial gas qualifications (COCN1 or equivalent) - essential
• Strong mechanical installation experience - essential
• Experience working on commercial boilers, heating systems and plant rooms
• Good knowledge of pipework, pumps, valves and associated mechanical equipment
• Strong technical and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive attitude and professional approach
