Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to cover planned and reactive maintenance across several retail stores in and around Leicester. The role includes ensuring the reliability of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units, with regular site visits and reactive work as required by the customer.

The successful candidate will hold ACS Commercial Gas qualifications and an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/HVAC or equivalent.

Qualifications

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical/HVAC or equivalent.
• ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A as a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Service and repair boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs and FCUs.
• Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual’s technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
• Order spares to the laid-down procedures.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise HVAC supervisor with recommendations.
