Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team on a leading supermarket contract. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across retail stores, maintaining and repairing commercial heating and air conditioning systems.

Role involves regular store visits, reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer, with a salary of £48,656.73 and on-call standby 1:4.

Qualifications

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical/HVAC or equivalent.
• ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A minimum.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Service and repair boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs and FCUs.
• Perform minor alterations and installations within competence and current specs.
• Order spares following laid-down procedures.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise HVAC supervisor with replacement options.
