Commercial Gas Engineer – Portsmouth / Southampton - £40,000 - £50,000 plus travel time

I am representing an established building services company seeking a commercial gas engineer to operate across Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, and Salisbury service areas.

The company has over 150 employees, including engineers in heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical, and general M&E maintenance disciplines.

Your responsibilities will include providing service, maintenance, and reactive works to commercial boilers, plant rooms, and mechanical systems. They offer long-term job security and development opportunities for career-minded professionals.

In return, my client offers:

• Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience)
• Travel time: The first and last 30 minutes of daily travel are in your own time; travel outside these hours is paid.

• Call-out: 1 in 7, £200 retainer, 1.5x rate, door-to-door when called out
