Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team covering the North West. You will service, maintain and repair commercial gas systems, ensuring safety and compliance across sites.

The ideal candidate is time-served with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), UP1A, and COMCAT/LPG experience. A full UK driving licence and strong fault-finding skills are essential. This permanent, full-time role offers competitive pay and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Must be a time-served Commercial Gas Engineer.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Minimum UP1A qualification.
• Proven experience working on commercial gas systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial gas appliances and systems.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot to minimise downtime.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown work.
• Carry out commercial gas safety inspections and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Work on commercial heating and gas equipment in line with relevant regulations.
• Undertake controls and electrical fault-finding where suitably experienced.
• Complete service reports, job sheets and relevant compliance documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with current gas safety legislation and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
• Travel to commercial sites throughout the North West as required.
