Job Description

We are currently partnering with a leading manufacturer of steam boilers and equipment to recruit several Combustion Service Engineers along the M6 corridor. This role aims to expand their growing Service Team.

Role Overview

This is a highly varied role requiring adaptability and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial steam and hot water boilers, with strong knowledge of combustion and multi-fuel burners. Additional training will be provided for the right applicant.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Boiler servicing and repair work
2. Commissioning
3. Gas maintenance and safety checks
4. Upgrade work
5. Site surveys
6. Fault finding (gas and non-gas)
7. Risk assessments
8. Other ad-hoc work

Qualification Requirements

• COCN1 - Core Commercial Gas Safety
• CODNC01 - Changeover Domestic to Commercial NG
• ICPN1 - First Fix Installation of Commercial Pipework
• CIGA1 - Indirect Fired appliances
• TPCP1 - Testing & purging (>1m3)
• BMP1 - Gas Boosters not exceeding 0.5bar
• CoNGLP1 - PD Core Changeover (Nat Gas to LPG)

Applicants should have a multi-disciplined service background, preferably with experience on industrial steam and hot water boilers. Ability to work well under pressure, use initiative, and be a team player are essential. Excellent customer service skills are also a must.
