Job summary

Sureserve Compliance Central in the UK is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. You will work with engineering colleagues to provide service, breakdown and repair on commercial gas heating and hot water systems at client sites across the region.

Applicants must hold a COCN1 qualification and have proven experience with commercial gas installations, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out service and maintenance works on commercial gas heating and hot water systems across the region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, and complete paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including risk assessments and COSHH records.
• Manage stock ordering and auditing to ensure parts are available for jobs.

We are looking for a dynamic & motivated commercial gas engineer, with strong technical expertise, and solution oriented approach to join our team.

Overview of Role:

The Commercial Engineer will work closely with our engineering teams to provide technical solutions to our clients, and attending premises to carry out service, breakdown and repair work. You will be an COCN1 gas qualified engineer with experience in commercial gas heating and hot water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out service and maintenance works on a variety of properties across the region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.

Key Attributes:

• With a friendly and professional attitude, you will build strong relationships with our clients and their tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.
• Experience in working on commercial gas heating and hot water systems
• COCN1 Qualified
• Working hours:

5 days per week

(Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs 1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings & weekend work.
