Job Description:

Established 20 years ago, our client, a specialist in the Mechanical & Electrical sector with a focus on the MOD sector, is looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join the team. The role involves a range of work from annual services to full installations.

Requirements for the Commercial Gas Engineer role include:

• At least 5+ years’ experience as a Qualified Gas Engineer with qualifications such as COCN1, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CPA1, TPCP1A, UVHW.
• Demonstrated experience working independently or as part of a team.
• DBS checked or able to complete vetting (BPSS).
• Used to an On-Call rota (current rota is 1 in 8).
• Full driving license.

Typical duties include:

• Servicing, fault finding, and testing of air handling units and gas boilers.
• Maintenance and PPM, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Maintaining site standards and health and safety guidelines.
• Seeking training and qualifications for career progression.
• Working in the South West region, depending on home location.
