Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Bournemouth / Weymouth / Southampton

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 45 Hours Per Week

Salary: £51,082 Total Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment, SLA & Welcome Bonus) + Overtime + Travel Time

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to join our company to work with one of our major UK supermarket clients.

The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across several retail stores, maintaining, and repairing a range of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units. You will undertake regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs, and minor repairs as requested by the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
2. Servicing and repairing mechanical equipment such as boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs, and FCUs.
3. Performing minor alterations and installations within your technical competence, following current specifications.
4. Ordering spares according to established procedures.
5. Identifying non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advising the HVAC supervisor with recommendations for suitable replacements.

Qualifications / Experience:

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical/HVAC or an equivalent qualification.
