Overview

Location: South East England (Mobile Role)
Salary: £48,000 - £54,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week + On-call rota (1 in 6)

Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our clients growing team, covering the South East England region. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to work with a well-established facilities management company, providing planned and reactive maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties including office buildings, healthcare facilities, educational establishments, and retail premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas heating systems and boilers
  • Service and repair commercial gas appliances including indirect fired heating systems, overhead radiant heaters, and water heaters
  • Conduct reactive callouts, diagnose faults, and perform emergency repairs
  • Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines
  • Conduct commercial gas safety checks and provide certification
  • Maintain accurate records and complete job documentation using handheld devices
Essential Requirements
  • Gas Safe Registration with current ACS qualifications
  • Commercial gas certifications
  • Valid UK driving licence (Category B minimum)
  • Minimum 3-5 year's experience in commercial gas engineering
  • Proven track record in commercial boiler servicing, breakdown repairs, and installations
  • Experience working in commercial premises
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
