Salary: £41,818.21 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full-time, 39 hours/week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at HMP Albany (IOW), a category B adult male prison.

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will work alongside experienced colleagues such as Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking a Combustion Engineer with:

• Two years experience as a heating or combustion engineer or equivalent
• Knowledge of Water Supply Regulation and Legionella L8 requirements
• Familiarity with Gas Safe regulations 1998 and industry standards
• Experience with commercial catering gas appliances (beneficial)
• C&G 6035 (Plumbing) and NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing

Qualifications include various C&G certificates and EAL Diplomas in Plumbing and Heating, along with core domestic and commercial gas safety certificates and good health & safety knowledge.
