Location: HMP Lewes

Salary: £41,818.21

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, 39hrs

We are seeking a dedicated Engineer - Combustion to join our team at HMP Lewes, a CATEGORY & Adult prison.

As an Engineer - Combustion, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking an Engineer - Combustion with experience in:

  • Two years in a heating or combustion engineering role or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Water Supply Regulation and Legionella L8 requirements
  • Familiarity with Gas Safe regulations 1998 and industry standards
  • Experience with commercial catering gas appliances is beneficial
  • Plumber qualified to C&G 6035, C&G 6189, and NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • CCN1 and COCN1 certificates and relevant units
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational and people skills
