Job summary

The Commercial Gas Engineer role based in the Yorkshire/North East region requires ACS Commercial Gas Tickets and an ability to cover the stated region for planned and reactive service and maintenance. You will work on commercial boilers, gas appliances and general plant/ mechanical equipment as part of turnkey HVAC solutions.

Benefits include a basic salary up to £50,000 DOE, a company van with optional personal use, a profit share scheme after 12 months’ service (up to £3,600 tax free),

Qualifications

Commercial Gas Tickets (CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1)
NVQ in Heating & Ventilation
Live in the Yorkshire/North East region

Responsibilities

Cover day-to-day tasks including planned and reactive service and maintenance visits
Respond to breakdowns, perform fault finding and repairs to Commercial Boilers and Gas appliances

Commercial Gas Engineer required in the Yorkshire/North East region. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC solutions including commercial boilers, heating systems, mechanical plant equipment, air conditioning and chillers.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

Commercial Gas Engineer - Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary up to £50,000 DOE
Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months’ service – Up to £3,600 tax free
Overtime paid at 1.5x
40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed – if called out Travel Paid door to door)
Pension
22 days’ holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and30 days after 10 years.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Overview

The Commercial Gas Engineer must hold valid ACS Commercial Gas Tickets and be able to cover the region for the clients listed above with day-to-day tasks including planned and reactive service and maintenance visits as well as responding to breakdowns, performing fault finding tasks and carrying out repairs to Commercial Boilers, Commercial Gas appliances, General Plant Room/Mechanical equipment.
