What You'll Do:

Industrial Gas Engineer responsibilities will include:

• Provide on-site maintenance and support for a wide range of combustion equipment and plant.
• Respond promptly to customer callouts, participating in an on-call rotation.
• Troubleshoot and repair combustion, boiler, and process plant machinery.
• Install, commission, and service equipment.
• Conduct testing and monitoring of plant performance.
• Generate regular customer reports and feedback.
• Propose upgrades and suggest energy-saving measures.
• Foster strong customer relationships.
• Contribute valuable feedback on products.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Travel locally, with occasional overnight stays.

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer, ideally with some exposure to industrial equipment
• Gas qualifications such as COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, and CORT1 (or willingness to train)
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Enthusiasm to expand your skills into industrial gas engineering through ongoing training
