Commercial Gas Engineer

£45,000 - £48,000 + Door to Door

Winner Recruitment are currently working with a Service provider who focus on hard services within the Facilities management sector across commercial sectors. They are looking to recruit for a Commercial Gas Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems across Scotland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment, in various working sectors. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.

Duties:

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will Install, maintain, and repair all types of gas heating and plumbing systems in commercial settings.

You will conduct regular inspections to ensure the safe operation of gas systems

As a Commercial gas engineer, you will diagnose faults in gas appliances and carry out necessary repairs.

You will assemble components as needed for various projects.

As a commercial gas engineer, you will need to understand, complete all work-related documentation accurately on time and to exceed the customers' expectations.

You will collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently.

You will maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Always adhere to health and safety regulations.

You will at times have to work away during Mon-Thursday

Candidate:

As a commercial gas engineer you will need the relevant qualifications e.g. COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW.

Ideally the candidate will hold LPG & Oftec

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.

Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fault find issues effectively.

A good general experience in working in occupied premises.

Clear communicator both oral and written.

A customer focused approach.
