Job Opportunity: Commercial Gas Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out PPM and Reactive Activities on a variety of commercial premises as part of our Rolls-Royce contract in Derby.

Applicants should have experience with Domestic and Commercial Gas. Ideally, candidates will also have plumbing skills and relevant commercial experience. The role involves assisting with reactive and PPM tasks, along with core combustion skills.

This is a hands-on role suited for individuals who can work independently, proactively, and reliably. The ideal candidate will be a conscientious team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• A minimum of: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT, and relevant domestic qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of current gas regulations.
• Experience with a variety of commercial and domestic appliances and installations.
• Extensive fault-finding and rectification experience in a commercial setting, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of major manufacturers such as Vaillant, Riello, Broag, Combat, Ambi-Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way, and Worcester.
• Good understanding of heating systems, with controls/BMS knowledge preferred.
• Good plumbing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexible approach to client requirements, and willingness to work out of hours and participate in callouts.
• Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
