A leading facility management company is seeking a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to cover various locations in North-East Scotland. This field-based position requires expertise in maintenance, repair, and compliance for commercial gas systems. Qualifications

  • Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance, testing, and fault finding.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas systems.
  • Complete paperwork and digital reports accurately and on time.
  • Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours support.

Job Title:Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Pay:up to £52,000
Location:Field-based -Covering Aberdeenshire and surrounding areas in North-East Scotland
Postcodes Covered:AB, PH, DD

We are currently seeking an experiencedMobile Commercial Gas Engineerto join our team, covering a range of commercial properties across the North-East of Scotland. This is a mobile role with a focus on maintenance, repair, and compliance across client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry outPlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)and reactive tasks on commercial gas systems and associated equipment.
  • Complete all necessarypaperwork and digital reportsaccurately and on time.
  • Conductfabric maintenance and basic electrical tasksas required under contract.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line withcurrent legislative standardsandhealth & safetyregulations.
  • Participate in theon-call rota(1 in 4)to provide out-of-hours support to clients.
  • Support colleagues when required and assist with supervision of sub-contractors, ensuring high standards of work and safety compliance.
  • Identify and communicateremedial workrequirements and assist in quoting and sourcing information for additional works.
  • IssuePermits to Workand manage escort duties and small works where necessary.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Qualified toCity & Guilds Level II/IIIor equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience incommercial gas maintenance, testing, and fault finding, including work on boiler plant, pumps, ventilation, and control systems.
  • Competence inbasic electrical and general building servicestasks.
  • Strong understanding ofhealth & safetypractices and safe systems of work.
  • Ability to work independently, use handheld technology effectively, and manage time efficiently across multiple sites.
