Job summary

The London Clinic is seeking a qualified accountant to combine commercial judgement with detailed financial analysis. You will report to the Head of Commercial Finance and influence pricing, insurer contracts and new services with senior stakeholders.

Your portfolio includes budgeting, forecasting and management reporting for commercial and operational areas. You will develop dashboards and financial models to improve insight and decision making across a hospital with 1,300+ staff and 234 beds.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant.
• Strong Excel modelling skills with understanding of financial processes and revenue cycle.
• Ability to evaluate commercial options and provide well-supported recommendations.
• Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and challenging constructively.
• Clear communication with non-finance colleagues.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented and able to manage competing deadlines.
• Healthcare experience and Power BI skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial insight across pricing, insurer contracts, joint ventures and new services.
• Assess commercial proposals, explain risks and opportunities, and support decision making.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and management reporting for commercial and operational departments.
• Develop financial models, dashboards and reporting processes to improve insight and decision making.
